Al Mohler and his good friend Rick Warren (a very bad partnership)

Editor’s notes: Okay, let's talk about the "A Common Word Between Us" project. It's an "interfaith" summit/"conversation" of trying to find "common ground" between those who honestly believe the Bible and those who to-some-extent "follow" the Koran. Joel Hunter is a part of the "Christian leadership" that is trying to move us that direction - and so is Jonathan Falwell and so is Franklin Graham, and so is Al Mohler - though the media covers up all of those things they have said in the past. Just look at Rick Warren working with Joel Hunter to create "chrislam" as a good example.

Joel Hunter and Rick Warren both work/worked together at the NAE (National Association of Evangelicals”)
Joel Hunter, pastor of Northland Church, and Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church, both had sons take their own lives this year. I know of five other wonderful Christian families that also had sons who took their own lives. Some researchers are reporting that the suicide rate among Evangelicals is the same as that of the non-Christian community. How sad.

Back in my NAE days, I knew Joel and Rick. They are both sincere, wonderful believers with ministries that are admired. I also knew some of the parents of the kids who took their lives here in Colorado Springs. Good families…

Editor’s notes:

Now, let's look at Al Mohler's response to this “Common Word” project/conference.

“‘A Common Word’ in the News

"Mohler cited several reasons why he did not sign the document.

“I didn’t sign the letter first of all because I wasn’t asked to. No one sent it to me and said, ‘Will you sign this?’ I was only asked to sign it after its public release in The New York Times,” he said. “The second reason why I didn’t sign it is far more important: I think it is confusing. Now, I want to be very clear: We should have nothing against a conversation. But I don’t think this is the way to get into the conversation. I didn’t sign the letter because I don’t understand how you apologize for the Crusades. I am sure that all kinds of sin went on with the Crusades on both sides. But I am not going to apologize for the Crusades because I am very thankful that the Muslim effort to reach a conquest of Europe was unsuccessful. Otherwise, we would be speaking Arabic on this program right now and we would be talking about the Muslim continent of Europe and potentially even of North America.

“And I am not sure what you are apologizing for in the war on terror. It says ‘many Christians have been guilty of sinning against our Muslim neighbors.’ I don’t think that is the right way to put it. I don’t think we associate the United States of America with the Christian church. For whom are we apologizing and for what are we apologizing? I think when you release a public letter like this you are clearly trying to make a public statement and I just want to know exactly what this is trying to say.”..."

Editor’s notes:

Mr. Mohler finds the “Common Word Between US” letter with “evangelicals” and muslims looking for “common ground” – “troubling”? hmm… That leaves us with just three questions:
- Mr. Al Mohler, who is Rick Warren?

- And why are you partnering with him?

- How far will you and John MacArthur go to cover up all of the lies you all tell?
