Jesus' words: "If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Hell." ~ Matthew 5:29-30

This is a powerful passage to use when talking to people about eternity, and helping them get ready to see God! This is one of about 33 passages where Jesus described Hell and warned people to avoid it at all cost! And it is also a passage where Jesus describes God's holiness in amazing color. It's truly a rich passage that all of us would do well to memorize and hide in our hearts.
