Editor’s notes: RC Sproul was one of the founders of RTS Orlando, as well as the its first dean. Also of interest, Ed Stetzer is currently filling in for Erwin Lutzer at Moody Memorial Church – and Mr. Stetzer is a friend of Joel and Erwin. Concerning at very least.
Article on RTS, and RC Sproul in the
founding of RTS Orlando
“… Undoubtedly, one of the most dramatic developments in the history of RTS was the establishment of a campus in Orlando, spurred by the offer of $20 million from two donors in response to the vision of becoming an institution of national prominence and influence. In 1989, two years after their offer and the eventual withdrawal of it, RTS opened a small campus in the Maitland Center Commons in 1989, becoming the first accredited Protestant seminary in Florida.. A stellar faculty included RC Sproul, Richard Pratt, and Roger Nicole. They were soon joined by Elmer Smick, Charles MacKenzie, Ron Nash and others. John Muether is the only remaining member of that original faculty. Life was never the same again...”

Biography
- Dr. Joel C. Hunter
“… A respected leader in the evangelical community, he
serves on the board of the World Evangelical Alliance (420 million
constituents) and the National Association of Evangelicals (30 million
members). Dr. Hunter recently declined an offer to become the president of the
Christian Coalition when the group could not embrace his vision to expand their
political agenda to include compassion issues.
Dr. Hunter is also partnering with other groups to accomplish common goals. He
is working with respected members of the scientific community to call attention
to human-caused threats to the environment. Additionally, as a delegate to the
US-Islamic World Forum held in Doha, he is seeking to build a dialog between
Muslim and Christian communities. Grist magazine named him among the
top 15 religious environmental leaders in the world, along with the Pope and
the Dali Lama…”

New Yorker bio for Joel Hunter:
“…Dr. Joel C. Hunter, the senior pastor of Northland church in Orlando,
Florida, who every week preaches to ten thousand people in his church and
through the Internet, is one of the new leaders. Long active in community
affairs, he has become an activist on the national level. He has lobbied
Congress for legislation to curb global warming, pressed for comprehensive
immigration reform, and denounced the virulent anti-immigrant rhetoric of the
Republican primaries. He has worked with a group of evangelicals and secular
progressives to try to establish common ground on such polarizing issues as
abortion and the role of religion in public life. “I think the way we have been
dealing with differences in this country simply doesn’t work,” Hunter told me
recently. He is on the board of the National Association of Evangelicals, and
with his fellow-members he has condemned Bush Administration policies
permitting torture and the inhumane treatment of detainees. He has also twice
attended the U.S.-Islamic World Forum, an annual gathering of American and
Muslim leaders in Qatar, sponsored by the Brookings Institution. After the
first meeting, where Hunter discovered that even the American diplomats assumed
that all evangelicals believed that Israel had a Biblical right to the
Palestinian territories, he and eighty-three colleagues sent an open letter to
President Bush, calling for a two-state solution and justice for both the
Israelis and the Palestinians. The statement was “hardly revolutionary,” Hunter
said, with a grin, “but it was subversive,” meaning subversive of the religious
right…”

Some of Joel’s latest projects
“… In 2007, Hunter was among more than two dozen
scientific and evangelical leaders who met secretly at a retreat in
Thomasville, Ga., to draft a joint statement calling for immediate action on so-called
climate change.
After that meeting, Hunter worked with a group,
Conservation International, to draft a tool kit titled "Creation Care: An
Introduction for Busy Pastors" to send to evangelical leaders.
They produced a package of Bible passages and information
on scientific findings to promote action on "climate change."
He is part of a group of evangelicals and progressives
who organize under the auspices of the left-leaning "Third Way"
organization. There, he helped draft a new position paper, "Come Let Us
Reason Together: A Fresh Look at Shared Cultural Values Between Progressives
and Evangelicals," that calls for common ground on abortion, same sex
marriage, and stem cell research, among other social issues.
"Third Way" is an ideology first promoted as an
alternative to free markets by Mikhail Gorbachev after the collapse of the
Soviet Empire. The "Third Way" of governing would be neither
capitalist nor communist, but something in between.
George Soros has been a major proponent of "Third
Way" economic policy.
Besides reaching out to progressives, Hunter has led
multiple initiatives on U.S.-Islamic outreach.
He was a delegate to the recent U.S.-Islamic World Forum
held in Doha, Qatar, seeking to build a dialogue between Muslim and Christian
communities.
He has spoken at numerous interfaith forums, including a
2009 Georgetown University panel, "A Common Word: Religious Pluralism in
the 21st Century…”

Making sense of the pieces
of the puzzle
Editor’s Notes: So, after a good bit of info about Joel and his connections, etc, most of this will not quite make sense to honest American citizens, that is - unless and until we look at Joel’s connections to names you and I know – yes you will recognize some of these. Let’s start first with this article.
Joel joined US top leaders to sign an
interfaith document.
“Washington, D.C.—More than 150 American Christian leaders from across
ecumenical lines are issuing a call to action in response to a crisis facing
ancient faith communities…
“Signers include National Association of Evangelicals President Leith Anderson, Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission President Russell D. Moore, Archbishop of Washington Cardinal Donald Wuerl, Sojourners’ Jim Wallis, Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Katherine Jefferts Schori, Anglican Church in North America Archbishop Robert Duncan, United Methodist Bishops Ken Carter of Florida & Mark Webb of Upper New York, United Theological Seminary President Wendy Deichmann (United Methodist), Southern Baptist Theological Seminary President Al Mohler, Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America Metropolitan Methodios of Boston, Focus on the Family President Jim Daly, Focus on the Family Founder James Dobson, Beeson Divinity School Dean Timothy George, Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary President Dennis Hollinger, Willow Creek Pastor Bill Hybels, Northland Church Pastor Joel Hunter, National Religious Broadcasters President Jerry Johnson, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, Prison Fellowship Ministries President Jim Liske and Institute on Religion & Democracy President Mark Tooley.”

Editor’s Notes:
So… let me get this
straight: What brought these individuals together? An
interfaith document signing in 2014? Really!?! It’s just a little
shocking to see in black and white that Joel Hunter was joining:
Russell Moore,
Cardinal Wuerl,
Sojourner’s Jim
Wallis,
Episcopal Bishop
Schori,
Anglican Archbishop
Duncan,
United Methodist
Bishops,
Al Mohler of the
SBC,
Greek Orthodox
leader,
Jim Daly and James
Dobson,
Beeson Divinity’s Timothy
George,
Franklin Graham,
Gordon-Conwell’s
president,
Willow Creek’s own
Bill Hybels,
NRB’s Jerry
Johnson,
Tony Perkins,
Prison Fellowship’s
(Colson) Jim Liske,
And
NAE’s Leith Anderson.
But, I’m sure that
none of these people actually know each other, right? No, they do. Clearly,
there is more agreement than they all admit, while they pretend to be honest “Christian
leaders”. Surprised? There’s more.
Joel Hunter and RC
Sproul have been long-time friends here in Orlando – they were both professors
for a while at RTS, though Joel was just a visiting professor and RC was the
dean of the Orlando campus. And even after RC Sproul “left” RTS (Reformed
Theological Seminary), he never cut ties. Very recently, when RC Sproul opened
his new “Ligonier Academy”, he made sure to form a warm agreement with RTS to
make way for students to graduate from his “academy” and go right into RTS.
“RTS has a long relationship with R.C. Sproul since he taught for many years at the Jackson campus and was the first academic dean at the Orlando campus,” said Dr. Robert C. “Ric” Cannada, Chancellor and CEO. “This agreement between RTS and Ligonier is a natural one and it will better equip Pastors for greater service in the Kingdom of God in our generation.”

Editor’s Notes:
And Joel Hunter and RC Sproul also know each other through Rockefeller’s Gordon College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary connections. RC Sproul doesn’t explain what he was teaching at Gordon College or Conwell School of Theology (before it was Gordon-Conwell, separate from Gordon College). RC Sproul did teach for two years at Gordon College, and then 3+ years at Conwell School of Theology (before it was Gordon-Conwell, yet separate from Gordon College). Then RC Sproul was a “visiting professor” of Apologetics at Gordon-Conwell (after the name change) from 1971 to 1981 = 10 years. Joel Hunter has some sort of direct friendship with Gordon-Conwell’s president, who has signed 2 of his “open-letters” to the government on various subjects.

The letter to GW Bush led by Joel Hunter asking GW Bush/Scherff to take land from Israel and give it to the Arabs. The presidents of Gordon College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (both Rockefeller direct-controlled) – These documents were signed by both presidents. Joel also was by joined faculty from the Rockefeller’s Gordon-Conwell and Gordon College, as well as a senior fellow from Jesuit Georgetown, as well as a physicist/administrator from IBM, as well as Jack Hayford, Tim Keller, Os Guinness, Andy Crouch, Catherine Crouch, and NT Wright (church of England) – all together for a “workshop” for a ecumenical one-world government agenda with an organization called “BioLogos Foundation”.

Joel Hunter is partner with other major “evangelical” false teachers such as Rick Warren and TD Jakes. But, that’s no surprise, because Al Mohler and Russell Moore are also good friends with false teacher Rick Warren as well. And yes, Joel is also connected to Ted Haggard too.
“… Back in my NAE days, I knew Joel and Rick. They are both sincere, wonderful believers with ministries that are admired. I also knew some of the parents of the kids who took their lives here in Colorado Springs. Good families…”

In Conclusion, Mr. Joel C. Hunter has been caught as a false teacher for several decades, but that has not stopped him from making alliances with other evil false teachers – all while they try to look like “scholarly” men for God. No. It’s surprising how many of these evil people are all working together. But, no surprise – the ones who are the most corrupt are the same ones who have a 501c3 and peddle God’s Word for lots of profit.
Stay alert. Study God’s Word and double-check all people, especially those who claim to be “religious” leaders. ~ Watching, Preaching, Praying, the FEDBP team.
